Nabi’s Final Sculpture (22 August 21)
I’ve only just seen this but Nabi assembled her broken artwork pieces with the entire piece and to me it looks like breaking free from old versions of yourself damn she’s genius. As you can see, the sculpture has always been the plan of Nabi, just not sure how to proceed. but what made this version different is that the finishing touches at the bottom only became a part of it due to the accident. JE appeared out of nowhere in Nabi's life. Get it, get it? The destroyed version also had smaller wings. She wasn’t ready yet. she was unfinished, something was missing. something within her, that JE helped her see (by being vague haha) meanwhile, the final version has huge wings. she spread her wings, the professor said. Someone on here said the sculpture is Nabi. and I guess that’s true. We can only express for ourselves, can’t we? I still have so many feelings.
