Cable Lines Parallel (07 October 21)

Great observation. To me, the cable lines connect the two scenes in parallel. It's also paired with them looking at the moon, something that is a shared experience for them from the start, but also commonly used to show characters thinking of each other.

What is interesting to me is that the act of looking at the moon is often romanticised, yet the cable lines again cuts into this beauty. Shows a bit of ugliness in an otherwise "perfect" shot. And that's the common resistance to romanticism in Nevertheless, which I admire.
